Group Newsletter Project:
In the group newsletter project we divided the tasks for article writing, and each contacted individuals or wrote parts of the article.
For the Undergraduate Student Profile, we collaboratively wrote the questions we would ask in class, as well as collaboratively composed the email we would use to ask students to participate in the interview. Later, after the questions were answered, I line edited the questions and answers for final publication.
For the FAME article, I volunteered to write the initial draft, and then posted it on the Google Document. From there, other members of the group substantially edited the content, and added a calendar. Afterward, I went over the article with Dr. Godbee, and used her criticism to make final comments. Lastly, I helped line edit the document for final publication.
For the Design Team, I initially made a sample layout, along with the rest of our group. When we selected a template to work with, we proceeded to select fonts, header types and categories into which content would be placed. Later, I aided with the design of the home page, mostly focusing on the features bar next to the "Letter from the Department Chair."
